LEED air quality testing makes up the majority of our project work and is our main area of specialization. We have performed testing on hundreds of LEED projects going back to the NC 1.0 and NC 2009 rating systems back in 2010. Since 2012, our project success rate in passing the LEED air quality testing has been consistently over 90% (which we believe is the highest in the industry), and we have 100% success rate at passing the CaGBC / USGBC project review stage for the testing credit.
With the addition of VOC individual compound scans and a change in the methods for sample location selection under the v4 and v4.1 rating systems, the cost of the LEED IAQ testing increased dramatically compared to testing under previous versions of LEED. Ensuring that your project has the best chance of passing the air testing the first time, and has the best chance of having the testing documentation pass the review stage successfully is key, especially when project timelines are tight.
