In addition to LEED, we perform indoor air quality testing for other green building rating systems such as Living Building Challenge and Green Globes. Another common type of testing for new buildings is general indoor air quality testing for building projects that are not pursuing formal certification under a green building rating system, but are adapting many components of green building rating systems for their projects. This is sometimes called “LEED Shadowing”. Without the constraints of following specific guideline methods, air quality testing can be performed cost effectively while still obtaining reliable and accurate data.
